Concordia College is a co-educational, day and boarding secondary school of the Lutheran Church located in Toowoomba on the Darling Downs, Queensland.
We have been privileged to serve the families of southern and western Queensland as well as international students for over fifty years, providing young people with a firm educational and spiritual foundation for their future.
The school size is deliberately set at a maximum of 600 to enable staff and students to know and care for each other personally. Within the support of this caring Christian community students learn to become effective, responsible adults in a changing world.

Educators and parents have long recognised that a well-ordered, co-educational school environment is the most natural and socially beneficial for young people. It allows them, gradually and safely, to learn to work with and relate to people of their own and the opposite sex. Girls and boys eventually have to co-operate and compete with one another in the job market and workplace: prior experience is therefore needed.
As far as academic success is concerned, a new and growing body of research demonstrates that girls and boys do just as well in co-educational as in single-sex schools.
