Fairholme College

Offering Grades 1 - 12, preschool and kindergarten

Fairholme is a traditional, independent girls' day and boarding school, founded in 1917 and operated on Christian principles by the Presbyterian Church of Queensland. It is situated on the Range escarpment in the dress circle of Australia's Garden City, Toowoomba.

Girls are enrolled from Kindergarten to Year 12, with boarders from Years 5 to 12. Boys are also accepted for Kindergarten and Preschool. There are 300 students in the Junior School, and 520 in the Secondary School, of whom 240 are boarders and 290 are day girls. The College is large enough to provide facilities the equal of any capital city school, but small enough to provide caring and individual attention, in the safe and healthy environment of a provincial city.

Fairholme is a strongly academic college with a highly qualified and dedicated staff who have inspired our students, in recent years, to achieve outstanding results at Year 12. Close to 100% of our Year 12 students now receive offers of tertiary places.

Fairholme also offers a wide range of sporting and cultural opportunities. The key to Fairholme's local and National success in both these areas lies in our belief in maximum participation, and in the expert and committed teachers and coaches on the College's staff.
